Who We Are

STUDIO AND PEOPLE

Energised by our offbeat but adorable Head Honcho – undisputed master of guiding and invigorating others’ businesses – we’re a divergent band of wives and lovers, friends and brothers, mothers and others. Here lies an infusion of eclectic talents in strategy, art direction, photography, Mac illustration and finished art, online know-it-all, copywriting and proofreading.

Skills sharpened by decades of professional big city experience in Sydney and Melbourne, some of us have returned to our country roots, while others have traded exhaust fumes for a clear-headed life in a one-traffic-light town. Sweet relief.

We exist to shape the future for north-east Victoria’s rural business go-getters.

Our Team

Dan

 – El Head Honch a.k.a. Art Director

– Love food, my beard and my lady, Kobe

– I am a total all-things-adobe, geek/nerd

Originally from Sydney, I grew up from the age of twelve in my dad’s graphic design studio working with old school bromides, letterset and paste-up, getting paid two bucks an hour! I studied at the school of hard knox and have grown as a creative maker through mentors at agencies and design firms. I am a photographer at heart and have acquired my Adobe Expert in Photoshop certification. Now I reside Euroa, a small town in country Victoria where I enjoy fresh air, great food, amazing people and work with an amazing team. Still working on understanding AFL though 😛

Kobe

– Crazy Ideas Lady a.k.a Creative Director

– Lover of meaningful conversations, quirky films and personal spots and stripes archivist.

– Ariel is undeniably my favourite disney princess and totally floats my   boat (just dont tell dan it’s a touchy subject)

Growing up in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs it was clear a cookie cutter mold was not going to fit so I embraced my freaky and studied fine art. Turns out I was a lazy artist and traded oils for the more instant medium of the camera… only to discover it was just as much work! Illusion shattered. Needing validation for my obsessive efforts I entered the awards circuit and won loads then stopped entering while I could still walk through doors. Now I’m driven to help businesses feel proud, inspired and stand out from the crowd.

Cindy

– Proofreader and copy editor

– Live for adventuring outdoors on horse with dog alongside

Life in adland began in my Kiwi homeland and quickly expanded to Sydney. From proofreader in typesetting tradehouse in lick ‘n’ stick days to studio management and print production in large international advertising agencies, below-the-line agencies, and for specialists in corporate design, packaging and financial services. Relocated to Euroa in 2012 and continue today as dedicated proofreader for several prominent Sydney and Melbourne advertising agencies. Best of both worlds now: intellectual stimulation in a gorgeous country environment.

Em

– Commuication designer / graphic designer

– I love words, collaboration, and lunch!

– I also especially love problem solving and my two year old son, Ted (when he’s not the problem).

With degrees in art and design, and 15 years in the game, I’ve worked with some of the industries best and made some great friends along the way. I’m aim for work that’s big on ideas and achieves that ever allusive ‘simplicity’. Can’t get enough of Euroa and all of the unassuming, crazy, talented people heading this way.

Blake

– Web/Graphic Designer, specialising in clean, usable and original UX design.

– Avid sports fan, passionate shoe collector and self diagnosed ice cream addict.

Grew up in the heart of Kelly Country where I developed a passion for arts in all its forms.Studied and worked in Melbourne for 10 years, where I gained the skillset  to enable me to apply my crazy ideas to an agency environment on a commercial scale.Recently traded in City life for the cold frosty mornings of the country, when I shifted back to the north east in pursuit of cheaper rent 😀

Sam

– Cinematographer and Alfred Hitchcock nerd

– Rollerskater, yoghurt lover, and long limbed human being

– My friends think I know too many Star Wars facts

I was raised in the beautiful Yarra Valley in Melbourne’s outer east, where many childhood afternoons were spent tricking my friends and sisters into performing in my backyard short films. Throughout high school, I did anything I could to get behind a mini DV tape camcorder until I was given an internship with a video production company. I now enjoy bringing stories to life on camera and collaborating with many creative people!
